What is CBD and how does it work?
About CBD
CBD is a compound found in the Hemp plant. The highest quality Hemp is cold pressed, and Hemp Oil is produced. Within the Hemp Oil are cannabinoids. Cannabinoids are chemical compounds. Cannabidiol, or CBD is one of over 100 compounds found in Hemp. We isolate the CBD from unwanted compounds and create CBD Isolate. It is the Purest Form of CBD.
Purest Form CBD Oral Drops are made from 100% Organic Hemp. Our CBD Isolate contains ZERO % THC and is Made in the USA.
How CBD Works
We do not claim that CBD cures anything. What CBD does do however, is attach to CB1 and CB2 Receptors that are found in our Central Nervous System, and Peripheral Systems. These Receptors send signals to areas in the body that are inflamed or out of balance. This may result in Pain Relief, relief from Gastrointestinal issues, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Migraines, Cardio health, Neurodegenerative issues, Autoimmune issues, Appetite issues, Sleep issues and so much more. These receptors also send signals to the Hormonal System, Immune System and Cardiovascular System, thus balancing your physiology, or biological harmony.
Discovery of Endocannabinoid System
In 1992, Dr. Rafael Mechoulam discovered that humans and animals have what is called an Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS is the largest network of receptors in the human body. It is hard to imagine that this incredible discovery barely happened in the 1990’s. Physicians who graduated from medical school prior to 1993 are, for the most part, unfamiliar with the Endocannabinoid System. Yet, it is arguably the most important discovery in human physiology.
The ECS is responsible for everything from Pain to Sleep, from Mental Health to Gastrointestinal Issues, from Brain and Organ function to Cardiovascular Health, from Appetite to Memory. The ECS helps our physiology achieve homeostasis. Homeostasis is a term used to describe biological balance and harmony. When our physiology is out of balance, we get symptoms. When our physiology achieves Homeostasis, we feel healthy and happy, having little to no symptoms. CBD naturally enhances the body’s own ability to regain Homeostasis.
When Does CBD Start to Work?
People always ask, “How soon will it start working?” That is a good question but a difficult one to answer. I have seen and heard of people getting results almost immediately. I have also heard people say after 2 or 3 weeks they have not yet seen the desired results. Everybody is different.
Here’s an example: Someone taking CBD specifically for a nagging tennis elbow could possibly feel little to no results after a couple of weeks. However, they may not have realized that other symptoms have dramatically improved such as much better sleep, anxiety is down, energy is up, lower back pain is better etc., etc. Consistent use of CBD will likely make its way to that nagging tennis elbow as the inflammation continues to lessen each time you use it. They key is not to give up after just one 30-day period. It may have taken many years to develop some of your health and pain issues. Give your body 60 to 90 days to truly see and feel what CBD can do for you.
What is the most common feedback I hear customers say?
“I’m not sure if it’s the CBD but I feel so much better overall”.
Some people who start getting incredible results tend to chalk it up to coincidence until of course they stop using the CBD. That’s when they realize it is the CBD that is changing the way they feel and act. It’s sometimes hard to believe how much it can change one’s mood, appetite, energy, pain, memory and countless other health issues. Truly, CBD is NOT just another health supplement. It’s a total game changer.
